Hi there: I just received my dried flowers and had to write to say thank you. They are lovely. I enter the state fair every year in the dried 'flowers to wear' category. Last year, I used flowers from my garden and supplemented with flowers I purchased at a large craft chain store. I won a blue ribbon and 'best in show' for my 'Garden royalty' crowns and scepter. However, I paid much more for the flowers I used. The quality of your product is wonderful and the prices are better. If I win for my 'western wear' this year, I will send you a photo. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour and visit with you and your family at your farm on Sunday, August 29th. We both learned so much and you were more than helpful (and patient) by answering my multitude of questions. Your farm is impressive but it's obvious to us that you are cultivating more than flowers and grasses in the beautiful hills overlooking Keuka Lake. We observed your interactions with your children, and the pride and love you have for them Being former teachers ourselves, we are always conscious of children who reflect an upbringing that is grounded in strong values and respect. Your children are a wonderful reflection of the nurturing environment they are being raised in. Even in difficult growing seasons such as this one, when you look at their faces and watch them growing strong and good you must know in your hearts that you truly made the right decision to trade the academic world for a life of flowers and farming.

Just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for opening your farm to us. We really enjoyed the beautiful setting and vista that you have. I wan so very impressed at the organization of the tour...information presented in a direct, simple way, small tips to help in our personal flower enjoyment, the demonstrations and last but not least, meeting you and getting to know you on a personal basis. The kids did a really great job of presenting their potpourri making and bath oils. They won't realize what a gift they have been given growing up on a farm until they are older. But Scott, you and Barbara have done a fantastic job of both your business and your family. Hope to see you again next year if possible.
